From Inferno to Americana

A fire grew too hot to contain,

Through the madness, sovereignty was claimed,

The Inferno became a threshold for release.

Within “Americana” I found my peace

Thank you for attending “From Inferno to Americana,” choreographed and directed by Ty Graynor. Tonight you will see the premiere of two pieces made in 2023, “Inferno” and “Americana.” This project began in June with a hunger to research and connect through dance. We invite you into a world where movement is our primary language, the one in which we all speak everyday, with or without knowing.

Including a 10 min intermission, this show will run ~80 minutes.

A very special thank you to the owners of First Street Studio, Dorothy O’Shea Overbey and AJ Garcia-Rameau, and the 68 supporters of our Kickstarter Campaign who made this possible.
